Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use this website, apply for a place, or enrol on a programme with North Liverpool College. By doing any of those you accept them.

About the College and what it awards

North Liverpool College is a private provider of professional education and training, registered in the United Kingdom and the United States. Its programmes and the qualifications it issues are professional in nature.

Whether any qualification is accepted is decided independently by the employer, professional body, educational institution or government authority receiving it. The College cannot and does not promise that any particular body will accept a qualification, and nothing on this website should be read as such a promise.

Your account

The details you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. An account belongs to one person: keep your password to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account where the details given were false, where fees remain unpaid, or where these terms have been broken.

A place taken through a partner institution runs between the dates recorded on the account. Outside those dates the account does not open, and access resumes only when the administration renews or extends it.

Fees and payment

The fee for each programme is published on its page. Fees may be revised, but a revision never applies to a place already paid for. Payment is made by the methods shown at checkout; card payments are handled by Stripe, and the College does not receive or store card details.

A payment made by bank transfer is recorded once the administration has confirmed it, which is why a transfer may take a short time to appear on your account. Where a payment is refused or reversed, access to the programme may be suspended until the balance is settled.

Refunds

A place cancelled in writing within fourteen days of enrolment, and before the programme has begun, is refunded in full. After the programme has begun, a refund is at the College's discretion and reflects the part of the programme already delivered. Fees for a certificate, for legalisation or for any third-party charge already incurred are not refundable once that work has been carried out.

Assessment and qualifications

A qualification is issued only on successful completion of every assessed requirement of the programme. Work you submit must be your own; where work is found to have been copied, bought or produced by someone else, the assessment is void and the College may end your enrolment.

A certificate remains the property of the College. It may be withdrawn where it is found to have been obtained through false information or through work that was not your own. Every certificate carries a code that can be checked on this website.

Legalisation of documents

Where a document qualifies, the College can arrange notarial, Apostille or consular legalisation on request, and charges for the service. These procedures confirm the authenticity of a signature, a seal or the official capacity of the issuing authority. They do not constitute academic accreditation of a qualification and do not guarantee that it will be accepted. Acceptance remains subject to the requirements and the decision of the receiving authority.

Using this website

You may read this website and use it for your own study and enquiries. You may not copy its content for republication, use it to build a competing service, attempt to reach parts of it you have no account for, or interfere with its operation.

The content of this website — course material, text, images and branding — belongs to North Liverpool College and is protected by registration with the UK Intellectual Property Office. Material provided to you as part of a programme is for your own use and may not be shared or resold.

Availability

We aim to keep the website and the student portal available at all times, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Access may be paused for maintenance, and we are not liable for interruptions outside our control.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited in law. Beyond that, our liability in connection with a programme is limited to the fees you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect loss, including loss of earnings or of an opportunity.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, write to support@nlc.edu.eu. We acknowledge a complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it within thirty.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the date it took effect is shown below. Where a change materially affects an enrolled student, we tell them directly.
