North Liverpool College Future Makers Academy Ages 6 to 17 · Fully online

Future Makers Academy

Create, speak, lead… and make your future.

A digital academy for children and teenagers that brings together live lessons, hands-on missions, projects, and video and audio recording — in a safe learning environment with continuous parent oversight.

The Idea

Not just lessons — room to become someone

The academy does not only deliver traditional lessons; it gives each child room to speak, create, draw, write, present their ideas and discover their ambition. Every achievement is kept in their own digital portfolio.

Speak

Present, act and record — and hear your own voice grow.

Create

Draw, write, film and build things that did not exist before.

Invent

Turn a problem you notice into an idea you can pitch.

Keep

Every piece of work is saved in your own digital portfolio.

How It Works

From sign-up to certificate

1

A parent creates the main account.

2

They add the child's details and choose a programme.

3

Once the enrolment is approved, a separate student account is activated.

4

Login details are sent to the parent.

5

The child signs in to their own dashboard.

6

The parent follows progress and manages consents and privacy.

Safety First

How we keep children safe

Safeguarding is built into how the academy works, not added on afterwards.

Parent holds the account

The parent creates the main account and each child has a separate login.

Private by default

A child's work is private and is never published without the parent's consent.

No private messaging

There are no private messages and no sharing of phone numbers.

Avatars, not photos

Children use an avatar instead of being required to upload a photograph.

Time-limited links

Session and recording links are private and expire.

Never used in advertising

A child's video or work is never used in advertising without separate consent.

A clear way to report

There is a report button and a named person responsible for child protection.

Trainers see their group only

A trainer can only see the children enrolled in their own group.

Enrolment

Enrol Your Child

The parent or guardian completes this form. Our academy team will contact you to confirm the programme and the start date.

A first name is enough at this stage.

Consents are optional and can be changed at any time from the parent dashboard.
