How to Submit a Paper to Our Journal: A Step-by-Step Guide
North Liverpool College Journal of Research and Innovation (NLC-JRI) welcomes high-quality original research and technical articles. Please follow the steps below for a smooth submission experience.

Step A: Choose the Right Journal Section
- Identify the appropriate section (e.g., Research Article).
- Read the Aims & Scope to ensure your paper fits the journal’s focus.
Step B: Prepare Your Manuscript
- Follow the Author Guidelines strictly (formatting, referencing style, fonts, headings, figures, tables).
- Prepare the following files:
- Main manuscript in an editable format (e.g., MS Word).
- Separate files for figures and tables (preferred original resolution).
- Conflict of interest declaration (if applicable).
- Ensure the manuscript is plagiarism-free recommended < 19% similarity.
Pre-Submission Checklist
- All authors and affiliations listed correctly.
- ORCID iDs provided for corresponding/co-authors (if available).
- References formatted per journal style and checked for completeness (DOIs where possible).
- Ethics approvals and consent statements included (where applicable).
- Figures/tables cited in text and provided as separate files.
Step C: Create an Author Account
- Open the journal’s registration page: user/register
- Click Register (top-right).
- Fill in all required details, including your affiliation and ORCID.
- After registration, log in to your account.
Step D: Start a New Submission
- Step 1: Start
- Select the appropriate Section.
- Complete the submission checklist.
- Agree to copyright and ethics policy.
- Step 2: Upload Submission
- Upload your main manuscript file.
- Add supplementary files (figures, tables, datasets, etc.).
- Step 3: Enter Metadata
- Enter the title, abstract, keywords, and author details.
- Ensure references are complete and properly formatted.
- Step 4: Confirmation
- Review all details carefully and confirm the submission.
- Step 5: Submission Complete
- You will receive an automated confirmation email.
Step E: Post-Submission Process
- Peer Review: Double-blind review by subject experts.
- Revision Request: If needed, revise and resubmit via your author dashboard.
- Acceptance: Formal acceptance letter will be issued once approved.
- Copyediting & Proofreading: Final language, style, and formatting checks.
- Publication: Article published online
Step F: After Publication
- Share your paper on social media and academic platforms (ResearchGate, Google Scholar, LinkedIn).
- Track reads, downloads, and citations via article metrics on the publication page.
